Deep Cleaning My Brushes- In Depth

When deep cleaning my brushes I use my Lilumia for larger face brushes. Also any brushes that have longer handles. I find the the Lilmia cleans my brushes, but can leave behind soap. So in order to remove the extra soap I use my Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Glove, first edition.

With just water I scrub and remove any extra soap. As for short handle brushes I just use my Sigma Glove and a soap of my choice. Followed up by placing my brushes in my Benjabelle Brush Tree. The Lilumia also acts as a brush tree. By putting them like this it will prevent water from getting into the handle and rusting the inside of your brush. For double sided brushes I lay them on a towel instead.

When cleaning your brushes make sure you reshape them with your hands or brush guards before you set them aside to dry. Remember to cleaning your brushes often and do whatever works best for you.
